Virus: A Menace for Information Security
Abstract
Computer virus is a program that copy itself toharm the computer without the knowledge of user. A virus can spread from one computer to another through some executable code. The user can sent it over a network or the Internet, or carried it on a removable medium such as a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB drive. Its chances of spreading from one com other increases by infecting files on a network file system or a file system that is accessed by another computer.
