‘Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India, an autonomous and not-for-profit Institute, set up in 1983, is sponsored by apex financial institutions- the IDBI Bank Ltd., IFCI Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd. and State Bank of India (SBI), with support from the Govt. of Gujarat.

Against the backdrop that the country needs entrepreneurs to ensure economic development and to create job opportunities, it is only prudent to introduce research programmes in entrepreneurship education widely. With this objective, the institute offers ‘Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)’ with emphasis on entrepreneurship and is designed to address the gaps in the availability of trained educators, researchers, business consultants and resource persons in entrepreneurship at higher learning institutions/professional organizations/ Government departments/ industry in India. The candidates having Master’s or equivalent with First Class are eligible to apply for the programme. The institute has provision of providing fellowship support (tuition fee waiver, monthly stipend and contingency grant), That is recommended candidate by the selection committee will receive a stipend in first two years Rs.25,000/- per month and in 3^rd and 4^th year Rs. 30,000/- per month and his/her tuition fee which is Rs.6,29,055/- will be waived off. Thus, the candidate who are recommended by the selection committee as EDII-sponsored candidate will require to pay only Rs.2,08,500/- in twelve varied installments during the programme towards the programme fee.

The Entrance Test (Entrepreneurship Research Aptitude Test and Personal Interview) is scheduled during April-May 2020.
